Yet another week of partying has been the fruit of my life these past seven days. Of course the Easter celebrations have played a big role, with me finding myself notching up three nights out of four - eek!
Leaving work with a massive grin last Thursday, excited about the prospect of a lovely long weekend, I tottered off home to get ready for some pre-Easter drinks with Lee and company in Brighton.
arrived at Charles St at our usual time of 9.30pm to find a queue! I was not impressed. Never before have I seen a queue outside Charles St. Still, it’s great to see the bar full again and it’s finally somewhere in Brighton that I’m once again enjoying. I partied the night away, but, for fear of ruining Friday night’s big celebrations, I decided it was probably best to take myself home at a reasonable hour and leave the boys wanting more!
Of course Friday morning was totally missed as a wonderful lie in was exactly what I needed.
Friday afternoon I trawled across Brighton attempting to find a fabulous new outfit for the evening’s fun and frolics and thankfully found exactly what I was looking for – a nice pale blue denim shirt.
By 7pm my housemate Ryan and I were losing memento as we had a huge fear that Revenge would be beyond busy - the Freemasons were doing a PA – and we were contemplating a night in instead. But, just as it looked as if we would not be going out there was a bang on my window. Who was there? Sam! He made a trip to Brighton without a single word to me. It was a total surprise and completely made my weekend! We ventured out and I danced my arse off in the club. I love the Freemasons’ music so I was completely in my element.
Sunday night was the big night out - the finale to what was a fantastic weekend of partying, Wildfruit. Sam, Ryan, Chris, my fab friend Daisy and I strutted our way to Kemp Town’s gay delights for 10pm to begin our mischievous night.
It was truly a weekend of surprises as whilst out I got a text from a girl called Ashleigh who I met in Ibiza two years ago - she was in Brighton with a friend and was eager to experience how we roll! It was a real treat seeing her after so long.
Wildfruit was packed to the nines but it was easily the best night out I have had in a long time! Surrounded by fantastic friends, hunky men and plenty of booze I felt like my true self was back and I wasn’t looking over my shoulder to see who was bitching about me!
I think I can safely say that this week will be somewhat calmer - a little trip to the cinema is definitely on the cards as I must see Clash of the Titans, if only to see Sam Worthington’s thighs!
